Hey Guys
Today I'm going to show you how to get Facebook Home App working with any Rooted android Device.
Note: I am not responsible for any damage caused to your Devices, I test this Method on my
Galaxy Note GT-N7000 ( Working 100% )) Follow My Guide step by step.
Here is Before
Here is After
1: You Need to Be Rooted and Have Superuser or SuperSU (Please make Sure Unknown Sources ON)
2: You need to download Facebook Home as APK file and Install it
3 : Install ROM Toolbox Lite after it's finish installing open the app
( allowed Superuser or SuperSU Permissions )
4: When you Open the Facebook Home App it's going to show you like that
5 : Open the ROM Toolbox Lite app
6: Swipe to Performance and Click on (( build.prop Editor ))
7: Scroll all the way Down to find (( ro.product.device - ro.product.model - ro.product.name ))
Note : Make Sure to write Down your Old Value Numbers Down for latter steps. may value number is
(( GT-N7000 )) for Samsung Galaxy Note. yours maybe different.
8: Now this is the Most Dangerous step because any mistake may damage your device.
We Need to change the Value for 1 , 2 , 3 from ( GT-N7000 ) to (( GT-I9300 )) this value for Samsung Galaxy S III
9 : Number 1 is Optional (( ro.product.device )) for Now don't change it now if it's not working then change it latter.
I recommend doing 2 . 3 only (( ro.product.model - ro.product.name )) after you finish the number 2 click OK please Don't reboot the Device yet. Click No for now. Then change number 3
10: Now You can Reboot your Device and Enjoy The Facebook Home after the Reboot
To return Back to the Original please undo step number (( 7 - 9)) do you remeber the value number that you wrote down change the ((1- 2 - 3 )) value to your number and reboot your device again. You'll still have the Facebook Home App working I recommend doing this step just to be sure that your device is still have the original value.
